Endeavour Community Sailing is a non-profit educational sailing organisation that engages students from different socioeconomic backgrounds across Bermuda in experiential learning activities with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) through Sailing education that builds confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills. Goals: • Leverage sailing as an effective tool for teaching STEAM Education; • Inspire STEAM career pathways through fun, experiential learning; • Build life skills including problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership; • Integrate youth from different backgrounds and expose them to sailing; • Increase the retention of youth sailors who pursue the sport and advance their skills; • Increase the number of locally qualified sailing instructors in Bermuda; • Enhance employability for local youth to start a career in the international maritime industry; and • Support local sailing clubs to help improve their facilities, assets, and ability to facilitate sustainable programmes.
